Effective July 1, 2022, Shoreview Pediatrics will intermittently be utilizing a nurse triage service after hours for urgent questions. We ask that you please be patient during this time of transition, and know that during periods of high call volume call back time may be up to 30-40 minutes. As always, please utilize the symptom checker on our website to aid in after hours advice. And in cases of emergency, call 911 or seek ER level care. Thank you for your understanding.

We allow time in our schedule for urgent care so that if your child needs to be seen immediately, time will be available. If you feel your child has an urgent problem, please call us early in the day. All calls regarding a sick child are answered by our nursing staff. Since some problems require more time than others, the nurse will need some brief information about your childs condition so that sufficient time can be scheduled for your appointment.

If there is an emergency at any time, call (414) 272-7009. During our office hours, our nurse will assist you immediately. After hours and on weekends/holidays, our telephone message will give you information on how to page a medical provider for your child’s urgent medical needs.

A medical provider will always be available and will return your call as soon as possible after being paged.

If you have not received a return phone call after 20 minutes, please call our dispatcher again to make certain your call was paged correctly.

Please wait 30 minutes before re-paging the provider, calls are returned on average between 30-40 mins.
